Wrote Two Poems Today

Like to hear? Here they go:

Cages of Temperature

Frozen water hangs
from frigid steel. Sings
to me of Kelvins and
the math of absolute zero.

Atoms still in crystal
prisons. Freed by the
heat of exhaust on
this cold and rainy day.

Second verse, hopefully different from the first:

Evening Frost

Arrayed in along the electrical lines
like birds about to take flight.
Row after row of frozen droplets.
Razor fingers. Teeth of ice
hanging above the wet concrete.
A flock of cold water ravens waiting for
the energy to soar again.
