FAITH
Once. When I was young and
unburdened by the crush of
poverty and despair.
Like glassy bubbles of ice
froth unbroken by winter's heat
wafting absent care.
I was buoyed by the yearning hope
of better days.
Works in progress
Once. When I was young and
unburdened by the crush of
poverty and despair.
Like glassy bubbles of ice
froth unbroken by winter's heat
wafting absent care.
I was buoyed by the yearning hope
of better days.
