Count me as one of those people fully expecting the Rockies to collapse once the World Series starting. I believe, to this day, it was the long layoff that did in the Tigers last year and I'm certain a similar dynamic will be at play here. Colorado is riding an historic win streak, fighting every day just to get into the playoffs and playing lights out once they started that grind. But now they're going to cool their heal and wait for more than a week while everyone - the press, the fans, even their relatives - pats them on the back and tells them how good they're doing? That has to take some of the edge off.
