The Smoking Mushroom Cloud

Count me among those who view the apparently good-natured mistake of transferring a handful of nuclear warheads to the stagging area for long-distance bombing runs to the Middle East with both skepticism and horror. The drumbeats of war are being sounded. The sabres are being rattled. Those who've refused to face the impact of their actions for years now want to push us into another war because...I really don't know as that's the point where my mind recoils in disgust and I cease being able to follow that line of thought. We have, though, as a nation been duped, misled, cheated, and lied to before and I, for one, am sick of being reminded that we haven't learned from our mistakes. The drums of war are calling. This time, though, we won't be found wanting.
