Here's what I don't get about the Jeremiah Wright "scandal". Which, as far as I can tell boils down to the fact that someone Senator Obama has known for a long time said some things that he - and the majority of the American public - take issue with followed with the entire media collectively throwing their hankies in the air and coming down with a case of the vapors.

But, okay, so Wright's pastor said some inflamatory, unflattering things. And Obama listened to them. Gave them their due consideration and rejected them while still maintaining a cordial relationship with someone he respects. And this is supposed to be a bad thing?

You mean Obama might meet with, even, gasp, listen to people whose views he doesn't necessarily completely agree with? Wow, that man certainly doesn't deserve to be our next President.

Yes, I am aware. That's a picture of Mr. Exciting. Not the greatest character find of 199X since the Mad Evil Bomber (What Bombs At Midnight) There aren't any good screencaps out there, I'm afraid. But, then, it's more of a great concept than a great visual.
